Yaaaaay! The blog title and the header have finally been updated! Feels so good to be back blogging! The last year and a half has been like a whirlwind! How life can change with a tiny addition to the family!
Over the last year there has been so many wonderful memories, moments and lessons I so wanted to sit down and blog about! But 24 hours in a day feels like too little time to do all that I want to do!
All I do is
6:30 am Wake up!
Quiet time
Get KT to school!
Get Vj out to work!
Feed Krissy!
Cook lunch!
Receive KT!
Feed them both lunch!
Make them nap!
Eat my lunch!
Clean the house, wash the clothes, put them to dry, work on the comp and if the girls are still asleep (it’s a big IF) try to catch up My Kitchen Rules!
Once the girls are up,
Give them snack!
Get home work done!
Dinner!
(By now I am exhausted)
Hubby gets home! Serve him food!
Clean the house!
Hit the bed!
Time – easily past midnight
(Did I miss breakfast? Oh yes! That’s because on most days it simply slips my mind and I forget to have one!)
This is my routine every single day!
I don’t move mountains!
I do not find solutions for critical software issues!
Or at least earn a few bucks!
I simply take care of one adult and two kids! I don’t even have the time to do DIY projects with KT like I used to or browse the internet to cook new recipes!
Almost every night when I hit the bed so tired and I wonder – what did I accomplish today? Did I do anything for myself? Anything to make myself feel good/happy? On most days I have no answer!
So I decided, just as much as my family needs me, I need myself to the very same extent! And this is what I do –
I let the toys lie around and hit the bed – my well being is more important than a messy home!
Ask hubby to buy dinner – so I can watch a little TV!
Make hubby babysit – while I enjoy sometime shopping and a good movie! (I have not seen many husbands who can take complete care of their young kids! Thankfully, mine is an expert – from changing diapers to giving them a bath to feeding them and entertaining them.. he can do it all joyfully! For that I am immensely blessed!)
Let some work wait, so I can design my albums, get photographs printed for both the girl’s record books, read a book (at least a page or two) and blog!
I got to do things that will matter over time!
And hence this post!
Since I am resuming after a break, I thought I will share with you something fun that I did for Krissy last year! When Krissy was a newborn, a friend shared this link with me! I instantly fell in love with the idea and gave it a shot with the minimum props that were available at my mum’s place!
Here are Krissy’s naptime adventures,

Superb shot! enjoyed reading every bit from your blog!:)
Great to see you back! hugs and love to KT and Krissy
