A few evenings ago, I sat in our balcony and watched my girls blow bubbles.
They took so much care as they dipped the plastic loop into the bubble liquid. I could sense their excitement and anticipation as they blew into it.
As a series of bubbles took form and shape out of a super thin film of liquid, my girls, especially Krissy, watched it with wide eyed wonder!
Her eyes sparkled with pure awe as she admired her little creations she had just breathed life into!
Moments later, I noticed, she was not just blowing bubbles!
As the bubbles gently drifted with the wind, she was cautiously trying to get hold of as many as she could!
And she did!
As I sat there watching Krissy repeat this over and over until she ran out of the bubble mixture, I learnt –
Make peace!
Spread it around!
When you feel it’s drifting, seek it, find it, grab hold of it!
And just keep doing it over and over again!
Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. – St. Francis of Assisi
