We have cut down screen time in our home drastically. Apart from Vj and I playing with them, the girls spend a lot of time playing together.
One Saturday morning, a couple of weeks ago, we discovered a long sheet of bubble wrap. While Vj and I were contemplating whether to dispose it or save it for use sometime later, the girls were excited at the sight of it!
They started off bursting the bubbles.
Moments later they were ruffling the wrap…
…and wrapping it around themselves.
A few minutes later when I checked back on them, they had spread the bubble wrap across from the drawing room to the bedroom.
Note, I was taking periodic breaks from the kitchen cooking to photograph!
Krissy was lit with so many ideas!
She said, “Mama, we are going to have a running race!”
The bubble wrap soon transformed itself into a race track!
They ran!
The race track then become our models’ runway!
All of sudden, the girls pulled their scooters out!
They zipped over the bubble wrap!
As the girls scooted off on their bikes, the bubbles burst like tiny crackers!
Vj and I sat there completely baffled at the many forms the bubble wrap took! At one point Krissy even imagined it to be a swimming pool and she swam over the bubble wrap!
